one piece of advice i have is make sure you keep checking clearance by putting the lense back on before makeing the lense location permanent. it looks like you might have some problems.

Oh yeah, for sure. Everything is good... except that turn signal in the top corner, but that is not the final placement of it... just the general location to give an overview of the finished product. It needs to be moved back quite a bit, but thanks for thinking... that's what I like to see

lol yeah, that and I probably shouldn't have done such a complicated retro for my first one. But it gave me good practice to make them for others. Now that I've done that for a while, I come back to these with more knowledge and ideas of how to finish them better. Also the confidence to start from scratch and not rely on the OEM bezel. But thanks man, can't wait to show em off

ABSOLUTELY ......and also before you "build" the bezel make sure the projectors are aimed . My 1st flub with the Astra lights was I didnt aim them first because I thought it looked right . Then I had to raise them up to much and eveything went out of alingment with the bezel . SO I had to cut them up and rebuild them

Tip on fiberglass ...dont use Bondo brand . Go to a body shop supplies store for the resin . For finish work use 3m light body filler . Just avoid the bondo brand all together . The professional stuff is SOOOO much easier and nicer to work with .

GL to ya , look like ur off to a good start .

A tip to what impulse said about the lens clearence . I had a spare junk lenses ( bought headlights that had broken housings for 20 bux at the junk yard ) So I cut the centers out of the outer lenses so I could move the parts around inside with the lens on . Also when u test for clearence make sure ALL the factory sealent is out of the grove on the housing and off the edge of the lens or u wont get an accurate idea of where the lens is gonna sit .

Not as of yet. Way too busy at school and I have 2 customers currently that I have to finish their builds before I can move back to mine. Hoping to get them completely done over X-mas break... not looking good that I can make any headway before then.
