Arrow quick vid of stock horn vs train horn

Recently finished re-installing train horns, and thought it would be a neat idea to test them out in the parking garage at universal studios.

The only way to make a video is to use the sony cybershot so it's kind of hard to understand just exactly how loud it is compared to stock, but heres a quick video for now..

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...alt+train+horn

In the parking garage, holding the horn on for any length of time was so loud with the echo, it hurt my ears. lol

I will try to get ahold of an actual video camera and try to get some in other locations that's more noticable on video.

Hornblasters.com has some videos until then.

Seems Effective Enough!

That will make people move! Just be careful not to give an old person a heartattack!

I paid like $640 for the whole kit, called "conductors special".. horns, connectors, sealant tape, compressor, air hose, 3 gallon air tank, all wires, and anything else you need.

Got it from hornblasters.com they make them about 3 hours from where I live. Shipping was free.

Now they're onsale for much cheaper

check out their site if you're interested, they've got all kinds of horns, and other goodies. they're on aim alot, fun people to talk to.

I installed it myself, yes.
I think a local shop told me "a little over a grand" for products and installtion, install wasn't too hard. Battery in our trunk really is nice!

that isn't the same kit that I have though. But those would probably still scare people.

I have them mounted behind the grill, but infront of the radiator facing down. (If you pop your hood, remove the plastic clip things, and pull up the plastic, that's where they are)

I can't get pics because my billet grill hides them, the longest horn goes from just under the hood latch, all the way to the bottom of the grill.

The "brains" are all in the trunk, against the back of the back seats. I'm in the process of building a box to put it all in, so it looks nicer..plus i'm bored this weekend :p
I'll take a snapshot of that when it's done..hopefully tomorrow.
