it looks like hammered **** and deserves a proper death by fire. building a show car with taste versus throwing a **** ton of useless crap at a car are two different things. this one is the latter of the two.

this is Bobs car I think he always out dose everything, he did a cavalier about 5 years back. The cobalt has changed in a couple of years,I have all the respect for the time and work on it but its not my cup of tea. the only bad part is reusing factory parts. that Is not custom work.

It was a Gm show car and desired customs had to leave the steering wheel stock for brand recognition. Sounds stupid, yes it is but I asked Kieth when I saw the car in 2005.
This car is long gone and parted out, but Kieth and desired customs also did the interiors on the castrol solstice and sky.

 

I have a few pictures of this car when I saw it at the JCO/GM bash in Ontario back in 06. I'll try to remember to post pics when I get back from work. Not too much different from those pics and mine.

 

its designed to show off the shops fabrication skills...i'd say they have some real talent. the stock steering wheels looks super outta place though.

 

j christ, I want all those CF parts! thats what pisses me off. A company goes and makes this thing, but wont mass produce all the CF parts...ugh they have all the ****.

hahha. Well I used to have a mazdaspeed 3, and that was my sig. Then the Focus RS was rumored to be coming so a friend photoshopped a RS in. Then the MS3 was totaled, the RS was confirmed not to come to the US and I got a SS. So my friend Cuda, MS painted me this sig as a joke and I thought it was freaking hilarious so I kept it. Thats his red SS painted white to be mine. haha. so cosmicspd3 was changed to cobalt and LOL at the RS.

Id totally buy CF body panels and paint them to stock for my car... light weight ftw!
