The new V6 Mustang is tempting me. The mix of performance (305hp) and fuel economy (29mpg with manual trans) is really appealing.

Yeah, but i don't think I could live with the fact that I could have had a better version of it, even having an sc over a tc balt urks me a little bit, but..damn it's gonna be weird being scared of v6 stangs instead of making fun of them

12 something and it was automatic

and it was awesome, I guess everyone thought it was gonna rain so for like 2 hours there was a total of 10 cars and 3 bikes at the track

The extra $7000-$8000 for a 5.0 plus the ~$100 extra/month in fuel is not even close to being an option for me. A RWD V6 that can do 0-60 in 5.4 is the next logical step for me. A 5.0 would also mean more speeding tickets. This thinking that you would be "settling" for a V6 needs to change IMO. The new V6 comes VERY close to handing the old v8 it's ass on a platter!

If a production version existed! Ken Block's car is a custom built RACE car. The only that makes it a Fiesta is the body!

I have a feeling the LNF will make it's way into a Cruze by 2013. They just need to establish the Cruze as an economical fuel sipper first.

Yup. I don't like most of the wheel options though. The 18" wide spoke GT wheels are available as an option though.

if i wanted v6 performance id get a 370z or a used HR350z. those are much better than the new v6 mustang imo in interior, exterior, refinement, handling, and accelaration. if i was to get the mustang its only going to be the v8.

I'm not a ford guy at all, I hate ford. But I'd get a new v6 mustang before I'd buy a piece of **** 350z or an overpriced piece of **** 370z.

I'd get a new V6 in a heartbeat. As much as I love the 5.0 (obviously), the V6 is killer..

Finally! Someone who sees it my way! lol. I would love to have a 5.0, but I have other interests outside of owning a nice car that make the V6 the right fit for my budget. It has the perfect mix of performance and economy IMO.
