Saw a new 5.0 at the track today
Needless to say, It was an overall badass car, and a **** was driving it so....yeah..

Yeah, but i don't think I could live with the fact that I could have had a better version of it, even having an sc over a tc balt urks me a little bit, but..damn it's gonna be weird being scared of v6 stangs instead of making fun of them
12 something and it was automatic
and it was awesome, I guess everyone thought it was gonna rain so for like 2 hours there was a total of 10 cars and 3 bikes at the track

The extra $7000-$8000 for a 5.0 plus the ~$100 extra/month in fuel is not even close to being an option for me. A RWD V6 that can do 0-60 in 5.4 is the next logical step for me. A 5.0 would also mean more speeding tickets. This thinking that you would be "settling" for a V6 needs to change IMO. The new V6 comes VERY close to handing the old v8 it's ass on a platter!

Finally! Someone who sees it my way! lol. I would love to have a 5.0, but I have other interests outside of owning a nice car that make the V6 the right fit for my budget. It has the perfect mix of performance and economy IMO.
