Scythe_Snakes New Hood

So I've been in a fight since I got into the cobalt "game" many years ago to find a hood that a lot if people didn't have as well as something that wasn't gaudy and that looked good. There were a few that looked good but lots of people had, and others that were gaudy and only a few had lol.

But I finally decided on this hood. Its been sitting in a garage for like....4-5 months and I just got it painted and put on and I'm extremely happy with how it turned out! Fitment was perfect from the get go. I'm just not using the hydrolic stand as I don't want to risk it bowing.

Its funny though not a lot of people even know what hood it is. Some of you will though. I even googled and I couldn't find another person with this hood. Probably due to how expensive it is. But I like that it makes it rare!

Early fitment and hood pin mounting:

Paint! (Grills not yet painted):

Yes gloss on the underside too:

Hood on, pins not yet mounted so fitment is a tad off, grills not yet painted:

I don't agree with the hood pins personally, but it looks good overall! I love how you speak about yourself in the third person for your thread titles

Haha. Well its letting people know whose parts/hood/etc it is lol.

The hood pins are necessary. Especially at high speeds the latch is not enough on most hoods. There for added security and peace of mind haha

That is the third hood I've actually liked on a Balt. The first is a custom cowl and the second is the RK. This is my favorite so far
What color are you painting the vents? Black I would hope!
