i love your car man and I REALLY admire the dedication, attention to detail and pride that has gone into this car

NOW.......for the love of god please do not turn around and sell it. I could never understand how guys can do that. Spend ALOT of money on a car(knowing that they will never get their money back), Spend ALOT of time......and then when they have it the way they want it, They sell it and take a HUGE lost and the guy who buys it WINS huge cause he just got a steal.

Many people would say, how can you people that much money into a car........well I get asked that all the time (and I havent even put as much into it as you) but I say that I plan on owning this car FOREVER so there it isnt a waste.

BUT if you must sell it..........SELL IT TOO ME!!

And I thought I had a fast 'balt with about 330 at the wheels. That is one impressive car you've got there, and it looks great in white. Since I'm having some difficulty getting a good launch with my "modest power," do you have any suggestions for coming off the line? If I don't rev first, I get some lag. If I rev and pop the clutch, I get hop and spin. If I try to rev and slip the clutch, I smell smoke and sense danger, while still not getting really good traction. Others have suggested some mods, but at this point I'm just looking for some techniques to get the most of my current setup. Thanks for whatever you might come up with, and once again, that's one of the coolest Cobalts I've ever seen.

Don't worry man, she isn't going anywhere lol. The car has special value to me for reasons that I won't/don't need to put on the forums. I do appreciate the car for what it is.

Thanks a ton man!

Its not too often I go from a dig so my opinion wouldn't be the best thing for you bro. What has worked for me in the past (including on my fully bolted stock tuned setup) was revving and then slipping it out ever so gently, though. Just enough to get traction and get out of 1st. I would talk to Matt M and see what he says. he's a cool guy and more than willing to talk with people about it.

Hey man.....u gotta make a walk around
Video of your car with video clips of your exhaust tone and turbo upgrade! I'd love to see some video clips
Of your given r down the road to see how fast it is!

How cone you went with a Hahn exhaust but not a Hahn DP! Why wouldn't u stick with all
zZP or Hahn for your exhaust???

Sure once i get it back out on the streets in the summer I'd be happy to.

The hahn is exhaust is actually the one original mod I got done on the car. The DAY after I bought it, I had the hahn exhaust on it. :P I think it sounds good too. Nice and reserved.
I did have the Hahn Dowpipe when I was on stock turbo and bolted on, but with the turbo upgrade they don't use the elbow'ed O2 housing that the stock turbo does, so it doesn't fit with a bigger turbo.

Alot. I have gone through bolt ons and touching every detail of the car that I can. My philosophy is to pay attention to every small detail I can.

PS - ever so slightly rude to ask how much money one puts into their passion, but i know it wasn't meant that way.
