Haha that Evo sounds like it basically has teh same setup as the Talon I helped build. Prolly Has the 4G63 motor with a huge Garret turbo setup. Our car ran a 8.9 best before it was torn apart and rebuilt. Used to be able to see teh video on Turbochargers.com. It dynoed at over 900whp.

Give it a few years and you will see balts running 10s too. Yea, thats right I said 10s. If I can run 12s on Stage II, CAI, and some traction mods then a balt with some mad cash into it will run very quickly too. All about cash man. Now of course I know right now the balt just does not do it. If you could fast forward time I see a great future for the balt. I for one will be keeping my car for as long as I can. When the warnity is gone, SC swap, pistons, N02, the entire deal man. Really hoping for a mid 11 balt one day.

That vid is sick. Hell, that little front wheel drive VW was pretty damn quick.

when launching awd cars, do not yank the steering wheel. when you have 900+hp, do not run street tires.

Friend of mine went to NOPI on sunday at MIR dragway and saw a mid 9 second Cobalt race. Course I think thats the GM factory teams car.

 

I love how the evo has that side exhaust, and as its going down the track you can see the exhaust fumes blasting out.

That evo = same pullution southern cali puts out daily
