Sighted: GM's turbo plans
While none of these are of the Cobalt, I am sure that this applies since drivetrains are so similar.
Turboed version of the HHR, Sky and Solstice in a parking, fresh as of yesterday. Pictures are huge, so here is the link: http://www.gvr4.com/Zeta/ |
pretty cool, although i know the Turboed HHR was spied in a Motor Trend issue. Nice pics nonetheless
nice pics- great find
Yeah, I was hoping these were still relevan, especially after I saw the Sky is already out there or at least available in a turbo version.
The HHR hack jobs are interesting enough though, they are the same basic drive train as the Cobalt, yes? |
Where is this at? GM building??
I honestly do not know, it almost looks like an apartment building parking lot.
sky redline looks fricking hawt.
Just think boys. The HHR is a FWD car. And it uses the same motors as we do. If this is true put 2 and 2 together. Like I did with my exhaust, I wouldn't be surprised if we can use parts from the turbo HHR motor in/on ours :D.
wow man...sweet find!!! I can't wait to test drive one of the sky redlines :)
That Sky Redline looks amazing in white.. definately blows the Solstice out of the water... I see a little laptop mount on one of the interior shots.. Must be doing some tuning ....
anybody else a little pissed that they didnt just start out w/ a turbo?
on what?
noice, the sky redline looks so badass, cant believe i just called a saturn badass.....
Awsome spy shots, you the man:cssNET:
get some more you bastard   what are you slacking!!!! lol jk
Again Great Find......Check in the future for others!! |
old post but anyone else notice the sky in the first photo has a pontiac badge on it between the seats?
its in a midlife crisis right now, let it express it self
anyone notice the 3 sets of what looks like curb feelers on the HHR
things behind front wheel????
wow, good spy pics.... I bet a car mag would have paid some $$$ for the HHR w/ the front intercooler pic.
OK fellas... whats the things coming off the passenger side of the blue HHR behind the front wheel? flamethrower nozzles? jk |
old man curb feelers, thats what I just asked about. and they all had front mounts, not just the blue hhr
sorry R33 ... i musta been typing while you posted that!

Since the HHR is getting the Turbo, not the LSJ, I would assume that the cobalt will switch to the 2.0L Turbo. Making the LSJ for just the cobalt when four other GM cars us the 2.0L Turbo would be stupi on GMs part! |
