Sighted: GM's turbo plans
While none of these are of the Cobalt, I am sure that this applies since drivetrains are so similar.
Turboed version of the HHR, Sky and Solstice in a parking, fresh as of yesterday.
Pictures are huge, so here is the link: http://www.gvr4.com/Zeta/

Yeah, I was hoping these were still relevan, especially after I saw the Sky is already out there or at least available in a turbo version.
The HHR hack jobs are interesting enough though, they are the same basic drive train as the Cobalt, yes?

Just think boys. The HHR is a FWD car. And it uses the same motors as we do. If this is true put 2 and 2 together. Like I did with my exhaust, I wouldn't be surprised if we can use parts from the turbo HHR motor in/on ours .

That Sky Redline looks amazing in white.. definately blows the Solstice out of the water... I see a little laptop mount on one of the interior shots.. Must be doing some tuning ....

wow, good spy pics.... I bet a car mag would have paid some $$$ for the HHR w/ the front intercooler pic.
OK fellas... whats the things coming off the passenger side of the blue HHR behind the front wheel? flamethrower nozzles? jk

Since the HHR is getting the Turbo, not the LSJ, I would assume that the cobalt will switch to the 2.0L Turbo. Making the LSJ for just the cobalt when four other GM cars us the 2.0L Turbo would be stupi on GMs part!
