Skittle in car!! :)

Here's a little video of my attempt to cure the boost leaks that the stock hoses clamps won't cure. I have been curious to what it boosts to. because I can't watch the gauges & road at the same time. Most of the time it's over in a flash, and somewhat nerve racking!!! Well after I made 2 runs on the video, I went home and sure as **** the hose clamps are loose again. I'm going to be upgrading to some T clamps this week. Other then that, she's running like a champ. Notice all the stock parts still intact!!! I hope you enjoy my little video!!!

O it is!!!! Still a work in progress. It'll need a few more things, better clamps, clutch, EGT\wideban, coil overs, and bigger brakes!! All in due time, Traction still ownes me though!!!! This weekend I hope to get it to the track to get some numbers on her!!!!

I was thinking of going beast intercooler myself, or AIS, because of the contoured endtanks. That area of flow is very important, to keep it linear, and no lag!!! I've got a few things to ring out, then I'm going to get some numbers on the car, track\dyno. Then I'll start worrying about the mods. She is already a monster, I got to work on the traction. I got to get a good set of light wheels and big slick rubber on her, for the dig attempt!!! Don't worry, I'll get it all on tape for your viewing pleasure. Stay tuned........

no it didn't. ON the intercooler shoot out it flowed worse than stock. It cools better but flows worse so take which one is more important to you and decide whether you want the cca.

CCA is pretty inexpensive compared to some big intercoolers, but like they say "you get what you pay for". Cheap for a reason i guess.

I personally like my AIS.

it really is all personal preference I just think it's a waste of money to buy a cca fmic id rather save for a better one. But my inital statement still stands I believe a new ic would help you out since you are making some nice numbers.

Question, why a Skittle? Skittles are yummy? Neons aren't. I guess they are kindof oval though.

to answer a couple of your questions. The boost gauge acts funny because it keeps leaking. I tighten the clamps, then 2 runs later, they come loose. 20+psi will do that. Better clamps are on the way, t bar baby. As far as the boost spike, I really can't honestly tell you, because it needs a bigger gauge to find out!!! It pegs the stock 20lber!!! They call them skittles, because they're round, colorful, and easy to chew up!! The rainbow wing only helps the cause. I'm gald you all enjoy it!!!!

That was a joke, I figured it was cause they were oval and colorful. Anyway, nice running and good luck with the boost leaks.
