haha i hear ya there. here in vermont i would say the next few months it will start to melt. what about in germany about the same time frame??

 

I don't really know yet. It had all pretty much melted away at the end of Jan. Then we got dumped on with about a foot and a half this past week. Now it looks like it's all melting again. They say it will continue to do this for the next 2 months or so. So aggravating.

 

it has been nice the last couple days in ramstein. today it was 40something. most of the snow is melted

I had understood that the US military had a base in Ramstein(?sp), but I thought they handed the base (and land) over the Germany a couple years back, and moved out of Germany....

 

nope i am stationed at ramstein now. dont see us giving the base up for a long long time

I went to Germany; i drove from Prague to Munich - did it in about 3:30 hours, with Skoda Fabia's :P

190kmh on the autobahn is nothing compared to the audi, bmw and porsche going by at 250!

Went to the oktoberfest in Munich, crazy STUFF! (yes, we slept 4 fully grown man in a skoda fabia hahha).

You are so lucky to be there!

 

Eh... better than some of the places in the US right now .

That being said, I would love to be in Germany too. Especially if I could ship the SS over and run it around the ring.

 

Man, I would love to have gone to spang. Stupid orders changing in the last minute.. I bet you love it there during the other seasons though, its beautiful.

 

My friends in Wiesbaden have been getting hit with a lot of snow too.
