So I bought a Jeep for my wife.
She has been wanting a Unlimited 4 door for some time, but with 2 car payments already, I just was not wanting to tie into another one. Anyways my grandpa decided it was time to part ways with his 41k mile 05 Unlimited. Its a one owner garage kept. He never used the 4x4 nor did he take the top or doors off. Dealer installed 3" body lift, chrome crap, and kc lights. First mod will be different wheels. Anyways she doesn't know I bought it or even looked at it. She gets off work at 5. I told her we would meet her for dinner. We will be rolling it.
Anyways here it is. Pics were before they cleaned their crap out of it.

Thats a pretty clean tj. I never was a fan of tubular bumpers tho. If it was mine i would be putting a rear bumper with a swing out tire carrier and a stubby front bumper. I actually kinda like the rims. They would be better black tho

Yeah it was modded by my 73 year old grandpa so you know. I dunno what we are going to do just yet. Def a bigger lift, Nitto Tires, I want at least 35s on it. The bumpers are either going or being powdercoated.
If ur gonna go bigger tires then you should do a gear swap too. My yj is on 33s with 4.10s and it is such a slug. Im supposed to have 4.88s to compensate but im just gonna wait until i swap axles. I doubt my dana 35 is gonna last much longer

Yeah I just need to buy 1 pro comp tire for it. It still has the original MT tire that it had on it when he bought it. We are about to head out to a car swap meet and look for goodies.
Since ur gonna get a new lift go with bds. They have a lifetime warranty on every part. They are expensive tho. I paid well over a grand for mine. Stay as far away from rough country as you can. Their shocks blow out very quickly and their leafs sag after a few months
2013 JK Rubicon. RK 2.5" coils (3.25" actul measured lift) 40" nitto trail grapplers and a lot of cutting to clear them at full bump with tiny bumpstops. Would go almost anywhere you pointed it. never got it stuck in 4wd.
