Some New Pics
#8
It was a kit from Aero Trendz, some place out of Florida. I got the deal through another balt site from a guy who provided me the info, since than I have lost that info since i got the kit along time ago and did not get around to putting it on till June.
As for the install, its really not that bad, just alot of time. Had to cut the fender well and fenders, kinda made me sick haha. Than we had to do alittle bevelling to the kit on the edges to get it to fit tighter and a couple lil other things. Than it was all getting it lined up and putting everything back on, it was alot of "ok, adjust just a titch.... no no, too much, back some. Ok thats good." Would I do it again? Only if someone really needed help but it something I hope to never do again lol. The wires in the doors did not need extending, managed to finesse them enough to avoid that mess, maybe later on down the road though just to be sure.

I like everything except the decal on the door... it looks really out of place.
and seems kind of ridiculous to debadge your trunk, yet have "COBALT" plastered on the side.

and thats why I love the vinyl, plus it matches the theme of the car. I could of left out some pics, actually did but I am one who loves lots of pics when I look at cars. And lambo's over done? kinda, but I rarely see any cars around me with them. My car is a shower, have been to shows almost every weekend this summer so everything helps. I am just surprised how many people get all giddgy when they see the nitrous lines and bottle, now that is over done, but man its fun lol and the debadged rear was not to make people wonder what I have, it was for a clean rear and if you can believe it, I still get asked what it is

I think lambo doors look quite good on cobalts. Reason being the doors are very large! It just works in my eyes! ahaha

pics are repetitive. same angles and background. love it when people put decals on their cars that say the model of the vehicle because i had no clue what it was. lambo doors are played out and cheesy as hell.
i do like what you did to your hood though.

I love the lambo doors. I was actually thinkin of doing it to my 09 black cobalt but wasnt sure. I think they look real good. Even the viynl on the sides. the only thing i think was a "turnoff" would be the "BEAMER" on the back. lol

I will give you major props for putting something out there that is new and different. The time and effort you have put into your car really shows. Very clean job - I can certainly appreciate your work...
(I will say that is very nice to see something besides a lowered, tinted, debadged cobalt with painted interior pieces = no originality)

My last name is Beamer and everyone calls me that, any car guy/gal knows the the way you spell it for BMW cars and bikes.
The hood is all CF, just painted the sides to let it flow better, believe I saw that ?. Down the road though I am doing two tone never done before. Just lack the money.
