Someone take a pic with their DSLR set to "auto"

Hey guys, if one of you would be nice enough , id like to see a picture, preferably of a car taken with a dslr, any brand I guess.

But when you take the picture, have the camera set on "auto" and do not edit it any way. Just looking to see how the pic would come out. Thinking of investing in a dslr of some sourt.

Thanks!!

Auto FTL!
Buying a dslr and shooting auto is like buying a fast car and driving 5 under.
I had read the entire manual and countless articles and forum threads before my t2i was even delivered.
You get more accurate pictures if you shoot in manual.

I would recommend the Canon T2i. I love mine. The T3i is out now so the T2i is much cheaper and it's nearly identical.

Exactly, auto mode is never a good choice unless you don't care. Better to learn how to use one.

If you get a T2i I have a "t2i for dummies" book I'll send you for whatever it costs to ship.
Read it plus your manual then go shoot a thousand or so pictures.

Yeah... no pics with it set to Auto in my arsenal. They still look good. A lot of the above photos look like ass though... but that is more than likely from their image host watering down and shrinking the photo in an effort to save space.

Flickr seems to do the best job at preserving the quality of a photo. I might have taken this one in Auto because I was in a hurry... but I don't think I did.

I'll take that book.

Been looking at upgrading to a T#i.

Been a while since I looked at them. Last time I looked at a camera... the T1i was just coming out.

Setting the ISO to 100 is one of the best things for shooting quality shots from a stand, imo. The higher the ISO, the more grainy the photo will appear. Dropping the ISO improves the quality of the shot, but also requires more time for the shot to be taken... so keep that in mind. When not using a stand... it might not be optimal to shoot at 100.

Yeah shooting in auto is no bueno, ESPECIALLY if you have a DSLR. I shoot through manual, always. I prefer be able to change my shutter speed, aperture, etc.
