so after seeing that noone on here has a video of a stage 2 balt running a stock LS1 anything i decided settle some of the arguments.

nice man. i dont pull on them THAT hard, but i definitely beat them. i have been waiting for someone to post a nice clear video like yours. mine was at a track and it wasnt that clear.

 

i think ima have to raise the Bullshit flag on this one. Theres no way your gonna pull on the gto that hard on the highway unless you got spray. What you run in the 1/4?? trap?? I think the video is rigged to make the cobalt seem its fast!

Why do you doubt? If a supposed *STOCK* (Strecthing Stock BTW) SRT-4 can beat one why can't an SS?

 

I have seen many LS1's run 13.5-14.5. Im betting you're looking at a vid with a good SS driver and a not so good LS1 driver, possibly auto. Hatrickstu has been part of the cobalt community for some time now, I highly doubt he would pull **** like that.

i have not raced the 1/4 yet. i have a best of 11.25 at 93.1 in the 1000' with the car leaning out bad up top. in the quarter with this 1000 time it would be around a 13.2-13.3 at 104-106. the goat was a stick with a passenger. im not spraying, mods are in sig i have no reason to make **** up. why in the hell would i waste my time making a bullshit video and risk getting a ticket to do so. at the track here i have not seen any stock LS1, LS2, or new mustang gt trap any higher than 93 in the 1000. i

have video of the highway race too but the filmer didnt even get me in the picture. those races were from 40-100 with a passenger in each car. even going around a long pretty good turn i pulled slightly with the goat in the inside lane. you can call bs if you want, but i know what my car is capable of.

Because the SRT-4 is faster than the Cobalt SS S/C wqith comparable drivers.

first off.....what kind of track runs 1000' and not 1/4 mile. Thats some goofy ****. Second, I have a silver 05 Cobalt SS S/C sitting in the garage with gm Stage 2, Fujita Intake, and DC Sports Cat-Back Exhaust. so I kinda know about what your car can beat, and you can't beat a gto by that much unless he was shifting at like 4500rpms or something. Tahts the way to do it! Race your buddy with a GTO, him shift early and make it look like your pulling him hard.

Grow some nuts and get a real race on camera.
