SS/TC Grill Pics and Other Shots

Just cleaned the car up and took some pics. It was really sunny out but I took a couple. Just wanted to show how the SS/TC grill looks on a silver SS/SC.

looks good, you need to find another method of mounting the"ss" on the front bumper, its looks bad cause you can see the tape.

I don't see any tape... You can see the holes. I had it mounted when I first got it to cover the holes but it has to sit lower and doesn't look right. I wish I could just get those holes filled or find something that could go over them then put the emblem back on. Oh well.

Oh yeah. Just take all the push pin things off the top and get the two that screw out down inside and it comes right out. I noticed that the ones that screw out really aren't a phillips head, it looks like a square head to be honest. They are kinda tough to get too. I also spray painted the clips black that come with the lower part so you don't see them. I put it on with a friend in about 15-20 minutes and half of that was bull shitting.

Nice! You will love how it looks. It is hard to get pictures of it in the sun. You pretty much just see straight through it. I am definitely glad I got it. Wish I could get the SS/TC wheels too.. but at 500 a piece.. that won't be happening.

Any other silver ones out there with the ss/tc grill yet?

It came in this last Friday. I put it on at school Friday night at like 11 pm lol. We had to go out and park by one of the over head lights so we could see.

I am impatient...

So I think I'm officially getting this. Great looking car too. And for filling the little holes behind the "SS", could you just use the caps you used where your front plate used to be, or are they too big? I've got the same problem, but since the car's black, you can't really tell unless you're like 3 inches from the SS

You know what, that isn't a bad idea really. I think the top part of the cap would be too big though and the part that goes in the bumper would be too small to fit in the hole. Someone with a black ss/sc said about just using a small piece of electrical tape over them. I think that would be perfect for someone with a black car. It isn't that big of a deal. Doesn't bother me.

My car came with those plugs though, I didn't put them on. I wish it never had them. I wanted to get them filled but it would cost too much.

Gotcha. I don't think it's too big of a deal either. I think it looks fine because you can't really see it on any color from more than 2 feet away or if unless you're looking for it. Just a thought for anyone who wants to change it. I wish my front plate didn't come on the car. Looks retarded as hell, but it's NJ law so I guess I just have to deal.

Yeah a plate on the front would suck. I am glad we don't have to have one. Let me know if you decide to get that grill, I'd like to see some pics of it.

Thanks. I saw some picks of the red ss that has these grills but painted black instead of the standard color. I think they look good painted black on red. I think it would look good painted on a silver car as well.

Thanks man! Did you get a chance to order these and send back the 05-07 grill before yours is back together? If no, you better!

x2... My thoughts exactly. I always wanted the lower part and didn't want to drop 80 bucks on it. 150 for both parts was a good deal to me. Plus it looks 100% better I think.

Two people have actually now that I look. I would assume you just tape off the top part and spray it black. Wouldn't be hard to do at all.

OK after looking at the bottom pic I don't think he did paint it. It just looks darker. And I am not sure if the upper pic is the actual ss/tc grill or a look alike, but that one is def. painted black.

Yeah I am sure that would look good. You will have to post up some pics if you decide to get it and do that.
