im about to go get my tint taken off the front drivers and passenger windows ,the cops finally busted me it took them a week "bastards" so i was woundering if anyone has a picture of there car with tint in the back but not the side windows i drive a blk ss/sc if you have a blk car with tint like that plz post a pic

 

why don't you just get a legal tint level? or is window tinting totally illegal in your area?

you could probably get away with a very mild tint job... a lot of cars these days are coming from the factory with a light tint...

just put a light tint on it, and then if you get pulled over again, just tell him that it was factory.

 

i dont get messed with in missouri i have 20% on the driver and passenger and 5% on the sides and back..

 

They don't bother people here for window tint either. I mean it's illegal and all but the cops around here say they have better things to worry about than people with window tint. i have 5% all round on mine and they don't even look at it.

 

yeah and i see unmarked cop cars with at least 20% percent on the sides and thats supposed to be illegal..

 

The only way to get any degree of tinting in Vancouver is if you have a doctors note because of an eye/light problem. Windows behind the driver can be legally tinted though.

 

5%all around an 40% on front winshield here a;ready gotten 2 repair orders

 

New Jersey had that same law, just glad im not there anymore

 

you lucky bastard.... here in Kingston pennsylvania all the cops have to worry about is window tint.

 

LOL, you cant even see in my car... i got no front plate either so thats a real big ticket in California.. You wanna know the secret to tint... huh do ya... ok heres what i did. I went to the eye doctor i told him i was having a difficult time driving with glasses... he knew i was bull shiting him... so he signed a paper that says i need to have a dark tint because glasses gave me a headache.. and in california you cannt have a deep tint unless a doctor recomends it... but the cops wont tell you that part.. ill even post pics of the letter he wrote if u wanna see it. (and yes, ive been pulled over for it twice.. and they couldnt do ****.)

 

Wow, you didn't know...? Cops have an entirely different set of laws they have to adhere to. Like, on highways where the posted speed limit is 70, that means they can go 120. You always add 50 and it's legal for them. With a tint job, the rule of thumb for a cop is pretty simple. Bust civilians, and provoke them by tinting excessively beyond what they can't. In this case, any degree of tint is acceptable.

Yeah, I'm bitter. Cops are more corrupt than terrorists these days.

go to your doctor and tell him you are really sensitive to sunlight. he can get you a sticker that lets u do limo all around my aunt did it

I kept mine legal. 35% is the legal limit in North Carolina. I got 36% on the sides and 20% on the rear.
