No the ATI Terminator Focus uses a SVT Cobra supercharged engine and tranny. That costs like 65k to do. The only thing I dont like about the v8 conversion Foci is that there is no room for a break booster, so they are completely manual brakes, which just plain sucks. But all the v8 Foci are just plain fast (with traction problems, which you'd expect from such a light car), and handle friggin awesome. I'd kill to do it to mine.

^^ Ya know, they actually aren't that light after the conversion. In MT, when they did the head to head RS8 vs. Lambo, they said the RS8 weighed 3300lbs. Not much lighter than a pre-'03 cobra.

Yeah the SHO engine, the one mounted in the rear, was done on Jay Leno's festiva...and it was fast! I loved the sho engine!

I owned a 95 SHO with all the tweaks except turbo or SC, and it was fast as crap! I hated to get rid of it.

I went from the tweaked out sho to the cobalt base mtx, but I'm planning on getting the cobalt up to speed with where the sho was.

I hate the focus, but shoving a corvette motor in a cobalt sure sounds fun if you had a hell of a lot of cash and time on your hands... lol.
