no one wants to race from a dig around here. not even the v8 guys. but if zzp had gotten me my new lifter i'd be at the track tomorrow... last weekend was the lucas oil drag series so fri/sat/sun was for them only.
I have that problem too. No one wants to run from a dig, but then make fun of me when I refuse to do a roll
But then again I pretty much refuse to street race, I haven't done it since I had my old Cobalt over 4 years ago.
I've even offered to pay people's way to the local track to "settle" a race, but they still refuse
So you're not hitting the track this weekend?

depends on when i get the part. friday is test n tune. saturday and sunday are both bracket races. so i could race any of those days...if i get my part.
Everyone makes fun of cobalts around here cause they want to do high rolls
It seems like my car was slow but watching your vids makes me feel better not too far off lol.. I just get used to things way to fast and i'm already looking to make more power after one day of driving it

this car is sick nasty from a dig. with the radials on and good pedal control i won't lose traction and keep it about 14-15psi in first by not goin wide open. then once i hit second i'll go wide open. it'll spin for a second once it spools but it'll hook before 7k, then reel it out to 8100. 2nd gear taking me to 90mph is ****.

after i repaint the wheels it'll look a little cleaner. so i'll be driving around on the factory sc wheels with the black/chrome scheme. then at the track or racing i'll put on the radials which also have the black/chrome paint.
