ya the TA had CF side skirts and a CF front lip. The koni cars had just the front lip, but its different than the TA one.

 

i'm diggin those side skirts. i really want the lip that was on the koni series ones though.

as you can see the TA lip is big...

 

Lol, i know how big it is. I wouldn't be able to get out of my driveway with it on. It'd probably get ripped off my the reflectors in the road at my ride height.

I wanna see it on a color other than red. Don't like how it looks.

Function or not, the flow of it design-wise sucks. The Koni lip though, I can get down with.

completely functional..... more functional then the grand am lips....hell they wouldnt even let the grand am cobalts run the brake ducts in the lip like originally intended

i have one...... koni that is brake ducts too.....ps crawford is no longer making ANYTHING for the cobalts.

if the TA one is not functional I think it would look a lot better without the big port holes then...
I mean it doesn't really matter if its functional for the street

 

where did it say its not functional?are you kidding me? you think they would put a rediculous lip like that on for looks??? lol theres my css lol for the day

the big holes are for brake ducts just fyi.

 

relax matt, I say that because if no one has the ducts in place than it is purely for looks. Just like I'm sure thats why any balt in this thread has it, for looks.
And if it's being used as an appearance lip than it would look way better without the ports. Do you think the two cars in this thread have the lip for racing? because they look like street cars to me. Also I said, IF it's not functional then get rid of the ports. Not the lip is not functional what are those silly holes for. I dunno you talk **** on this forum because they never vendor statused you, yet you come back here all the time.

i apologize, i took your comment wrong so maybe YOU need to relax. im sure they are using it for street use. this site makes me lol because of how many bov threads i see for hte lnf that literally ask the same question......or what charge pipes are the best, or what intercoolers are the best yet no one wants to provide fin density and pressure drop ratings....

soo to add to your post WITHOUT trying to be a dick. the lip is functional even without brake ducts and if you throw a splitter underneath your going to have a hell of a lot of downforce. the time attack car was alloud to run their brake ducts because they basically raced in an unlimited class where as the georgia bay grand am cars as pictured and the continetal challenge cars did not run brake ducts in the lip. the design was prohibited by the rules so they ran them in the fog light holes. not to mention the air pressure going into the foglight holes is higher then going into the front ducts on the koni lip.
