Tracked the ATS yesterday!

first time ever taking this car to the racetrack and holy crap was it ever amazing! It was cadillacs track day at Canadian Tire int.Raceway (formerly Mosport Int.) and this car seriously handles like its on rails!

It was from 8-5, training, breakfast and lunch were all included, there was Autocross, slalom, Skid pad, etc and then obviously lapping, and for anyone that doesn't know, this is a big well known track, 2.5miles long, winding hilly and a huge back straight, absolutely a blast to drive.

I honestly had no issue whoopin on the CTS's, I kept up/pulled most of them on the straights and was able to slip right by them in the corners. The V's obviously got away from me on the straights but I was right on there heels in the corners(we're talking double HP here).

I honestly had no CLUE just how nimble and agile the ATS was I'm so glad I did this and it really showed me just how damn amazing this car really is and what an AWESOME job Cadillac did on it, truly a fantastic car.

The 750HP batmobile lol VVVV he was sloppy though around corners, looked like a boat.

Dasilva showed up, 800ish HP, smoked a new set of tires in one day lol

Looked like a good time Steve. I haven't had a chance to drive an ATS yet, but from the engineering I've seen go into them, I'm very impressed. Wouldn't mind having one in the future, along with the rest of the laundry list of cars I like.

haha yeah its fantastic, never thought I'd like a Cadillac but this car won me right over after the test drive, it really did feel at home on the track! there wasn't really a point that I felt the car was "overweight" or out of control, and trust me I was givin'r

lol it WAS ****ing awesome!! I defiantly will be doing this again! and I read somewhere that... "The all new Cadillac ATS sports GM's LTG engine which shares the NLS algorithm with its distant Cobalt SS LNF cousin" but it doesn't state it in the owners manual and I didn't dare test it out

Nope none! and sounded wicked to! all the other guys with 2.0's were wondering about the sound it was making haha! and I'm finally not working every damn day this week so we can FINALLY get it all wrapped up, I'll shoot ya a text tomorrow

no not tuned, still playing chicken with that one with warranty and all. Its a small car though, you really do see how small it is when lined up with the CTS, I dont think my ATS is much bigger than a cruze. I wouldn't mind livery plates tho :P

Oh and gotta say I'm glad I didn't get the AWD, there was 2 other guys with AWD and my GOD did they ever bog at launch!!

Looks like itwas a blast. Out of all the GM nameplates, Cadilliac is doing it right as far as build quality, looks, performance, and brand support.

Mmmm, that V coupe. If it had the graphite wheels it'd be the one I want

Love the ATS my dad had one for a while. I really prefer these rims though.

and yes those rims are nicer, but i cheaped out :P I want to buy the GM accessory wheels for this car, they look so sweet
