Personally, I think you're nuts for taking your crash bar off......

Yeah he took his crash bar off, theres no other way to make that big hole without the crash bar sitting there in the way. Maybe some one could make a strut tower brace like thing that mounts to where the crash bar is so it acts somewhat as a crash bar.

MPx already makes one for the SRT-4.

If he gets into an accident, insurance will screw ya since you removed a mandated piece of safety equipment.

I'm pretty sure this guys cobalt is not built. As far as I know, he's on a modified stock K04 turbo. No way he's flowing enough air to need that Big Ass Intercooler. But, nothing wrong with preparing for later on down the road. Supposedly he's going for 120mph traps on his 16g-wheeled-K04.

Is this the guy that use to work at turbochargers.com?
I remember seeing a post somewhere of someone working there and doing a 16g wheel upgrade for the K04 before he lost his job there.

I don't know. I looked through his previous posts. Wasn't hard to find some quick info.

That's ok bro everyone has different taste. My car is semi built (rods, pistons) and fully bolted on and why wouldn't I race? Who said I didnt

Now that I think about it the guy was doing the whole 16g compressor cover/wheel on the K04 hotside or something like that.

I still like it. But I kind of agree with Gestapo, if a car is gonna look that aggressive, it better be able to back it up.

Ya my buddy did it to his turbo he let me try it and I didn't like it so I took it off and then I bought a 35r turbo, but then I had to leave for 8 months to go do a job in new orleans so the car stayed at the shop during those 8 months motor got built got new clutch and then thats when I saw the thread zzp made about the new bolt on turbo so I gave up the whole 35r idea and now I. Have stock turbo back on untill the zzp turbo comes out which is good cause I'm breaking in motor and clutch with stock turbo

I agree too, but just because its cut doesn't mean I have to have 1000hp haha.
