No dyno numbers yet.... my advice... try not to go aggressive with the tune, I'm on the same boat which is why I'm sticking with my Trifecta tune.. I was gonna go hpt but those tunes are normally more aggressive ..trifecta tune may not put out as much power but it still gets Tue job done

yea, thats kind of what ive been gathering from people on here. trifecta is a conservative tune and HPT is more aggressive. i just want a tune and someone who is a reputable tuner. what do you do if you need some warranty work done?

You do know the tune is only aggressive if you make it aggressive. It does not matter what tunning software it is.

I get that but normally when you want to go aggressive you go with HPT... that's just from what I see on this site.. another reason why I like my Trifecta tune so much is if I need warranty work... click the cruise Control button.. or if you'd like, have it set on the traction control button, one click and I'm on stock tune and the tune is invisible.. most techs plug in the scanner.. nothing pops up and they call it good.. my buddy got a motor replaced under warranty thanks to the stealth tune lol

I'd love to get a aggressive HP tune tho.. but till my warranty it up and I can afford a new clutch.. ill probably stick with Trifecta for now.. both great tunes! Not bashing either one

Yea man,I see the same stuff on here also. And wasn't tryin to bash any tuners. Yea im trying to find a second ECU but am having zero luck. And the warranty is something I want to keep. Trifectas tunes are invisible? I didn't know that

lol now people are going to think you can make tunes invisible. The only actually point you made is that you can swap between tunes with trifecta. who ever tunes you can make your tune aggressive or not, it doesnt matter if its hp tuners or not. but anyways....

loved the gopro vids!!

Not 100% invisible but thru the scanner it can't be detected, trifecta is the only tune that does it, there's a thread floating around here somewhere about it.. its worked for me before when GM hooked up their scanner and came up with nothing.. now if.they really wanna dig into the ecu they can find it but the only way they're gonna do that is of you've blown your motor a few times lol

the scanner can pick up anything lol what sucks is whats about to come out for GM dealerships. the scanners are all linked to satelite so if you have a good buddy who helps you out alot and he hooks it up theres no way to say its still warrantied. It will shoot straight up to GM that instant its plugged into your car.

My 91 Oct hpt tune is conservative... For warranty work you can do. A write entire and gm will not be the wiser best bet is spare ecu. Anyhow come to the darkside Derek lol

Copied from the sticky thread 'what you need to know about different tunes' in the 2.0 LNF performance tech section

'General Info Custom Tune performed by Trifecta only. Tune has been written to match the gm records and is undetectable at this point this tune is called the Stealth Tune.'
