this is what 3 feet of snow looks like
this. but yeah, for the most part, all of the snow got cleared off the streets. they had to call in bulldozers and dump trucks though to get rid of all the snow.. craziest **** ive seen since ive lived here.. and another awesome thing happened to me. friday night i had to go shopping and i THOUGHT the main streets were plowed by then.. apparently not. they decided to just plow half of the street for whatever reason. long story short, i was driving 30mph and hit a snow "curb" and absolutely destroyed one of my steelies. i was so pissed. now i have to wait til wednesday to get a new steelie w/winter tire.
i was 80 miles away from my house all weekend with my bf where he goes to school, they got NOTHING, not a damn flurry, no sign of snow whatsoever, and it was sunny all weekend. i come home to a foot or so of snow last night and still coming down like crazy. sucks. this morning, all the high schools around are closed and such. wtf, i still have to go to work and class! lol i'm about to head back out to where he goes to school and stay this time lol
i kind of enjoy the snow...if people wouldnt drive like retards in it lol

Some people have no concept of lake effect snow. you can go 3-5 miles one way and its sunny. 3-5 miles the other and theres a foot + of snow. Thats no exageration. Ive seen it snow upwards of 5+ inches in an hour! and i love the snow tires comments lol. 3 ft of snow and your not going anywhere haha.
for refrence i spent my winters in Jamestown/Bemus point NY. right of lake chataqua.
