Video games is a lame excuse to use honestly. I have been playing games like Mortal Kombat 1 since it was first released in the arcades.I wasn't going around with a spear with a pointy arrow at the end throwing it into peoples chest or ripping kids heads off.I am school bus driver and I can tell the difference between a child who is disciplined and isn't.I talked to many type of kids of what games, movies, cartoons they're into.I have some kids with parents who are so stupid they shouldn't even have kids in general, they let their kids do whatever they want with out disciplining them one bit. While I have parents who were raised properly and know how to raise their child with discipline. It comes down to the parents, you can't blame video games or movies. Its not like I was going around like Conan The Barbarian slicing and dicing kids with knife when I was a kid.
I take it ur not a parent? Cuz from my point of view, this video was just plain wrong. And if you read my post the way I intended it, I wasn't blaming video games. Like you, I played all those games as well and I never hurt anyone either. But, violent movies and video games DO encourage children of young ages to do dumb things. I will agree with the points you've made, but you also can't just dismiss the fact that movies and games play a roll. I'm not saying its every child that is encouraged by these things, but even 1 child is too many. Stupidity is just flat unavoidable and you'll always have parents that don't teach/raise their kids properly, there's nothing you can do about it. I mean, if it weren't proven fact that games and movies affect younger kids, we wouldn't have the ESRB ratings on everything.

ESRB rating doesn't mean anything apparently, kids are still able to get a hold of violent games regardless, which comes down to the parents once again. Its not like the game company can go to each parents house knowing what kid has their violent game.Companies don't care as long as they make their money.I am not agreeing that kids should be doing scarface plays, but I don't see schools letting them do a drug lord movie.I am not a parent,I have only a niece.

I was a Ninja Turtle and a Power Ranger. Lol. Best of both worlds. Guns and hand to hand weapons.
