I had painted the ss badges on the doors and while I was putting them on I put alittle to much super glue and it dripped down to the skirts, now there's a stain. Anybody know a way to get this crap off? Its not really a big issue since the car will be getting resprayed soon I just dont like the stain mark

Well for one you don't use super glue to put badges on. There is 3m adhesive glue that is used for that. But good luck getting it off, best luck is a buff or wax

Try double sided tape next time. Much easier.

Tarminator works great at removing stuff like asphalt and tree sap so it might work on superglue. Stuff isn't easy to find though, at least not around me

i have one ofthose big metal cans of 3m adhesive remover. i've used it once or twice to get rid of badge glue stuff and it goes good without ruining your paint. jms you buff and wax good afterwards. 0probly get it at ace

It works lol just got to be careful, I would think the 3m tape would weaken over time

Even though Super Glue is incredibly strong, it has one weakness: acetone, this can be found in everyday finger nail polish remover. Only one problem, acetone will more then likely discolor your paint. Good luck.

almost every emblem is held onto cars by 3m tape, (or another brand, either way its double sided tape), if you've ever debadged a car you would know that its sticky as hell.

3M tape is the way to go. As far as getting the superglue off, your probably not going to have much luck without ruining the paint.

It's not a big deal I'm getting the car sprayed hopefully by next year, I just wanted to know if there was a
Way to remove the glue.

If it's not a big deal to mess the paint up you can definitely get it off
