Are you playing with the sensor on the manifold, or the one in the lower charge pipe?

If I remember, that's an issue with the lower sensor. It's either the sensor itself, or the harness(which you did). That's why I asked about which sensor you were playing with.

im thinking its one on the manifold it was working fine with the old harness installed new one now this p0238 code stays active
