Using the splice in pigtails or using the plug and play connectors? I've seen issues with cars using the pigtails, but none with the p&p connectors. Not to say it can't happen. Just speaking from my own personal experiences of course.

Might want to have them check the A/C line to see if it could be contacting the sensor wiring and/or dripping condensate on same. This has been discussed as a potential issue. G/L.

Just got an update from the dealer, there were 3 codes popping up:

P0101 Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor Performance - PCM
P0106 Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Performance -PCM
P2178 "Car is running rich"

I've sent them an email to look into some of the things that you guys have suggested. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for all of the suggestions!

Sounds like a possibly boost leak to me as well with a p0101 and p2178 combo. P0106 still definitely points to the lower map sensor issue though. It might very well just be an o-ring seal issue.

Boost leak test time. Rich code and P0101 point to a boost leak. The P0106 can happen due to the ECM telling the turbo to spin harder than normal to try to hit target boost due to the leak. Still possible the map sensor itself is bad but I doubt it in this case.

Another update:

Went back to the dealership today and spoke with the tech. The car is currently running fine and I took it out for a run to confirm. The tech confirmed that he's done all of the tests that I suggested (which were posted in this thread) and other tests. The sensors look good, he's tested the wiring voltage and everything is working fine. My GMS1 upgrade wiring was crimped not soldered but he said that he's checked it as well and it looks and tests out fine.

I've suggested that there may be a boost leak but he said that he highly doubts it as the issues are inconsistent. If it were a boost leak, I'd have this issue all the time, rather than on/off every few days for the past week. He said that the code indicating that the car is running rich is specifically showing that it's running rich at idle/cruising speed, not when full throttle.

My issues specifically began after I ripped it a couple of times so the tech is wondering if one of the wiring harnesses got shifted or pulled when the engine moved under high throttle.

Sounds like stage 1 sensors or boost leak. Im leaning towards sensors since its the pigtails that everyone had problems with

Any updates on the OP's situation? Has anyone here had the issue that the OP is having with these harnesses? Or does it seem like its mostly the guys with the spliced connections?

Do you notice if this happens after rain? I have the CED connectors and had similar issues but noticed it only seemed to happen after driving while it was wet out.

I checked the bottom connector and I didn't have it on all the way until it was clicked. I haven't had any issues since.

Any update on this from the OP? I also have a 2010 with GMS1 (except the plug and play harness from CED came out after I had already had the dealer install the kit) and am having the exact same issue for the past 5-6 months...it is very intermittent and like the OP, typically happens when under light throttle (car jumps and sputters) or cruising at a constant speed (just like the car trips over itself for a second and then goes back to normal).

I'm curious about this as well. I would like to do the gms1 on my 2010 but after hearing about so many people with issues, I'm not sure its worth the risk at this point. Hopefully you guys can pinpoint the issue.
