2010 SS/TC sputter issue.

Hey every one. I have done a bit of searching and haven't really found a clear result. I have a 2010 cobalt SS turbo and has about 26k on it and is bone stock.

The issue is that it will sputter randomly down the road, the AF gauge on the PRD will dip to about 10 then pop back up and it also died at a stop sign on my way home from work. Almost dies again when I went out to eat later that night. Also seems to sputter when I took some turns fast but will run just fine when I floor it. Also no check engine lights are on.

Anyone have some info for me? I thought it might be the heat here since we have been in the 90s consistently for the past few weeks but I'm not sure that could be it.

Thanks everyone!

sputtering

Well 1st off I wish there were 2012 cobalt's(LOL)!!!!! but anyway Ihad a similar problem with it sputtering. I think it was bad gas though, cause my cel came on saying it was misfiring! So i threw some seafoam in the gas tank and through the vacuum line. Then a couple of days the cel went off and runs fine! BUT IF UR CEL's NOT ON, then not sure did u check ur plugs, fuel filter?

Lol fixed the 2012 :p. I had bad gas once and it did that with no cel. I'll keep an eye on that this week though.

Looks like you're still within your warranties (I am happy to check and be sure if you wanted to send me the last 8 of your VIN via private message), which I know is always an important consideration in a visit to the dealer. Any luck over the week?

I've heard of this problem locally, turned out to be the purge valve.

Just because there is no visible CEL, you should still scan it for PENDING CELs.... if you go to the stealership then I hope you have a better luck than I do with them.

There are also DTC's that do not set the malfunction indicator light, or "check engine light".
