So as everyone knows i had my engine fully built to run the tvs supercharger..not only did matt(chevytech007) from this forum say he can do it...but that he had tons of experience doing ecotecs (his claim to fame is the piece of **** procharger thats barley faster than a stg2 cobalt if that) well anyways i got about 900 miles out of my car after the rebuild then the engine just stopped on me...today a friend of mine and i were pulling the head for him to have the head and this is what we found. just a pre warning to people to check who u have building ur engines before u drop a couple grand.
thanks matt.

the valve seats look to be in ok shape so my boy is prolly going to have the spots that are all beat up polished up by a machinist but this thing broke the block..not just the cylinder wall...the whole piece of the block is broke off..
thanks matt.

I C....when it comes to major stuff like that, if I can't do it, it goes to a major, well known shop...or if I know one of my friends who are REALLY good at it...I have a friend who has built about 10 v8 motors from scratch, but I still wouldn't let him touch my car because about 3 of those engines have blown
But yeah if you're doing internal stuff and don't want to do it yourself go to some well known profesionals...but yeah dude that sux man hope you get everything straightened out

What the **** happened? That doesn't seem right at all, to break the sleeve/block like that. Something screwed in too tight perhaps? Did the nearest head bolt look like it wasn't right?
You even going to bother trying to get some cash back or just going to cut your losses?
Shame you didn't contact me before I did Shaun's
You never took the head off yourself when you re-opened the motor for neutrals did you?
