Unhappy ABS and ESC Lights on..

Hey everyone,

Yesterday I changed the front wheel hub on the drivers side. At first I noticed it was a little difficult to get the hub in. Beforehand, I scuffed and cleaned the knuckle out before I inserted the new hub. I then noticed the new hub becoming stuck inside and was not properly seated.

Now here's where the problem starts I believe..

The blue steel cover on the back of the hub came off and was stuck inside the knuckle, so I pulled it out and attached it to the hub assembly again. I then inserted the hub back in and lined up the holes while making sure the black abs sensor went into the appropriate curve in the knuckle. I think I might have miss-aligned the blue steel backing on the hub.

I was wondering if it would matter since it is most likely not in its original position. Is there a magnet in our hubs that could be out of alignment with the sensor?

My ABS and ESC are both off and wont come on even if I disconnect my battery or pull the fuse. I checked the contacts on the ABS plug today and they were clean, and properly connected. From what I can see, the black ABS wire has no frays or slices in the wire.

Any feedback would be great, thank you in advance
