AEM Uego Pegging 10

Like it says wideband has been pegging 10 all day everyday since I got my header installed. Should be hunting for stoich idling and 11.5 @ wot like it was. I think it got bumped around when they did the welding and fucked the sensor but just wondering if anyone else ever had the problem before I drop 80 on a new sensor.
It does read around 14.7 when I first start the car, if I tap the gas a bit it'll bump up and down like it should but then within 10 seconds or so it starts pegging rich as a ****..Placement from the exhaust ports shouldn't be the problem bc it's about the same spot as it was with the old setup. It''s just been an annoyance the past few months that I haven't worried about but I need to get retuned soon and need it fixed now haha.

It *sounds* like a possible exhaust leak. Any ticking sounds coming from the header? If air is entering and escaping through the leak, it would totally throw off fueling. Is your idle rough? Are you pulling -20inHg at idle?

I'd double check your header nuts to make sure they are tight. They tend to loosen after a couple heat cycles.

sounds like they probably f**ked up your sensor from possibly welding. Did they weld?

you have to keep your wire away from any heat source, did it get moved around at all?

Nah car runs fine if it wasn't pegging 10 for a few months wouldn't know it, no exhaust leak that IK of do need to retorque the head bolts that hasn't been done since.

It's like an inch or 2 from the dp (02 sensor -> wire -> clip on harness to uego) Was the same way with the stock dp idk haha.

Yea mine happened right after the header though IDK I guess i'll drop the 80 on a new sensor and post up with the result so if anyone else has the prob. Tune commands like 11.5 usually end up leaner tho lol.

Well looks like I found the issue. When they did my pacesetter header they ******* clocked the dp kinda and they must've done it off the car then shoved the **** out of it with the sensor pre-in the pipe to get it to fit, I went to replace it today when I was doing my oil and I couldn't even get the sensor out it was so tight.

Here you can see the clocked cat and the sensor fit before when it was on properly.....

Def going to be giving them a call and making them cut that section out and clock it the right way it's bad enough I sucked it up and bought a new 80 dollar sensor on account of their mistake.

That's exactly how my downpipe is! The wideband sensor sticks out so much that the shop i had put my dp on had to shift the downpipe all the way to the right and for a while the cat was rattling on the heat shield. got VERY annoying. Is there any way to correct this? BTW if it pegs at 10 and stays there that means the sensor is definitely broken. I seen a video on youtube once on the aem o2 sensor and he showed a test to see if the o2 sensor is bad and if it pegs at 10 and stays there its broken i think.

Yeah it looks like where it's all shoved up against the heatshield the wire coating on the outside cracked and exposed the wires prob fucked some of them too.

It is the sensor.....100% sure. That 90 degree bend burnt me as well. I took mine out to have my emissions readiness state set up to pass emissions. When I reinstalled it the same thing happened to me except it would totally stop reading anything after it warmed up. I had one in a box and installed. Corrected the problem.

In Lancaster County. PA we have an emissions check. They test your fuel cap and hook up a machine that looks at the readiness state of your emissions devices such at your O2 sensors, etc. Depending on how many O2 sensors you are running you can fail this portion of the test.....regardless of what your PID settings are.
Lets just say if you are using three bungs you will be ok.
