Exclamation Air Leak

HI everyone,
Do not know how to word this for a search. I started getting an air leak noise about 2 weeks ago. I get up around 60 and I get kind of farting noise just below interior front windshield. It also pushes the rubber gasket looking thing just below the windshield up in 3 sometimes 4 spots. Took it to Chevy Dealership and the service writer said my windshield needed a new gasket without even popping the hood or getting a technician to look at it. Of course, my extended coverage did not cover the issue. I took it to a friend who owns a glass shop and he replaced for 1/2 the cost. I still have the air leak!!!??? Anyone hear of this one or know where to search?

sounds like your friend at the glass shop needs to redo it, maybe he only gave you half the gasket?

Yup, might be time to replace those seals... Maybe the old sealant wasn't removed completely before putting the new sealant back on.

Thanks for atleast attempting to search! That in itself makes puts in the top 5% of the population in the world that uses this forum.
