Auto, reverse clunks when shifting

Auto, reverse clunks when shifting
I have an automatic 2009 cobalt ls.
When I shift it into reverse there is a clunk sound. It isnt very loud....but it is noticeable.
My wifes rav4 has the same clunking sound ... except hers only clunks when you shift to reverse while the idle is high after your start the car. After it idles down, the clunk is gone. BBBUUTTTT with my cobalt... the clunk is there every time...regardless of idle rpm.
Any ideas?

I see it's a 2009 -- what is your mileage? You may still be within your bumper to bumper. I can check your parameters on your warranties if you wanted to get me the last 8 of your VIN.
