B0085...? Where is the side impact sensor located?

I have a 2006 SS/SC and I put it on a diagnostic computer and it came up with this code:

B0085 LF Side Impact Sensor

The car was hit on the driver side rear, only the side bag deployed. My airbag light is on, so I need to replace the sensor, but I am not sure if it is the sensor that is in the door, or under the hood. Can anyone help me out? I searched threads, but only found my older posts asking the same question. also, if you know, will this sensor take care of the problem?

GM part number: 15212949

I know that this one is the sensor for the door. No idea where it is though or how to find and change it.

Hmm...where is the best place to get my car on a computer to get a more detailed description of the B0085 code? I know the dealer wants about $120 to run a diagnostic...so I want to stay away from that because I am pretty broke? Any ideas on what to do?

Think you could find a Thank you" somewhere for Coblasts very detailed answer to YOUR question?
That took a little time to put together.
