bah!

so I have been having troubles with the 2.0 ss/sc cobalt. seems when i shift into low second or low third my car loses most of its power/acceleration. makes a farting sputtering sound of air maybe. I changed the MAF sensor check engine light is still on and its still happening. If im just cruising in 3rd at at 2.5k rpm at about a 40 mph roll and floor it thats when it potentially happens the most. its hit and miss. doesnt do it All The Time... my boost gauge continues to climb, but my rpm and mph flutter/bounce on the gauge. any ideas or thoughts?

Doesn't have a timing belt or distributor. It's a timing chain and coil on plug system. Sounds like misfires to me

thanks 4door i learned something today. i been doin some homework on the car havent gotten that in depth with it yet. had no idea it was setup that way. shes at the dealership now, they randomly called asked how it was driving and i told them so they said bring it in. just got it few weeks ago. if they dont fix the problem ill look into the exhaust leak. already got new plugs in it, havent checked the coils. would having after market fuel injectors but stock throttle body and stock fuel rod cause the issue?
