Body Panel Question..
Hey guys,
So, recently, I've noticed a "noise" when I open my drivers side door. Didn't really think much of it as I drive a Cobalt and have since gotten accustomed to "noises". As well as the fact that it's winter, and frigid, and things make even more noise under these situations.
Having this said, I've dealt with it for a little while now and basically just figured it was a creaky door hinge from it being cold and such. But upon looking into it further, it seems as though my door has sagged, and now catches on the fender ever so slightly when opening and closing it. It would be where the bottom hinge is. The lowest spot on the door (by there the SS badge would be on the 06+ cars).
Now, I've seen my share of grabbing panels, and this is very un obvious.. Just barely grabs it enough to make a noise. But the only thing I can assume is it's from the door opening and closing so much, and it's a decent size, heavy door, and thus is sagged a bit. And no, the car was never hit on this side causing this to happen. And the drivers side door or fender were never removed before..
Is there anything else it could be, or any way to adjust this myself without going to a shop? I'm not particularly worried about it, but when I go to trade the car in in the spring, they'll question it and figure it's damaged.
Thanks!

I would think you need new door pins if its starting to sag. Thats what i did on my truck when it got so bad it wouldn't shut. They're not expensive and i know shops do them for cheap as well.
