boost gauge and wipers not working

Both the boost gauge and the wipers will stop working and the first time it happened it was a fuse. The dealership and I forgot there exact words said the two were related (fuse wise.) Its happened again. Am I looking at a short somewhere where there going to have to tear my dash apart looking for it?

UPDATE: Dealer took the dash apart and found some pinched wires. Apparently from assembly.

There both powered through the 10 amp wpr fuse on the bcm(passanger side)
I would go with a short for the wire feeding the wiper swich or the switch itself is buggered.

i don't think you would want the dealer to know about the bee's as i would think GM would not fix it under the warrenty as that would not be a factory or workmenship defect
