Get an autolite mechanical boost gauge, easy to install. I think there is a writeup in the how too section.

Does it light up or is it dead? If it doesn't light up, check the fuse.

they "gheyge" is bad. It is a common problem and if you are still under warranty it is covered. If not, get a mechanical boost gauge and cure the problem. I had one covered under warranty and it is starting to act up again i think. (knocks on wood).

So can that be solved by switching out the gauge for one off another balt, or do i have to replace the whole set up?

p.s. thanks for clowning on the spelling...lol
