Brake pads wont fit!!!

I ordered new front and back pads and rotors from modern performance for my 2010 SS/TC and the front ones fit perfectly but on the back ones after i compressed the piston as far as it would go. i put the rotor on and the pads in the caliper and when i tried to put the caliper over the rotor it wont go on so i took everything back apart and tried to compress the piston more and it wont go. When i tried to put it on the first time and i didnt fit i measured the rotor and then the space between the pads and there was abt a .150 thousands difference between the rotor and the pads. Has anyone else had this problem???

Did you just compress the rear pistons or did you use the proper tool and screw them back in? they auto adjust as thy wear. You have to turn and compress then in order to back them out far enough to get new pads in.

You need something like the one I linked to that turns the caliper piston.

if all else fail just crack your bleeder screw on the back of the caliper then you can pretty much use just finger. You will need to bleed the breaks after though. Try turning really slow and pressing in very hard first though.
