A bunch of **** when i bought the car and took it home. I traded in my STi because of financial problems and got a cobalt ss/sc.

1. When I bought the car at the dealer the vinyl piece by the window had a gash in it. Im waiting for GM to send the vinyl piece so there body shop can replace it. No painting required thanks god.

2. The front of the bumper had this white stuff all over it as if the car was crashed into a wall. I went home and waxed the car on the first day i bought it.

3. The boost gauge and wipers didnt work. Stupid fuse. I changed it, it works. The boost gauge and wipers are on the same fuse.

4. I was a block away from the dealer and it was raining, the wiper fails. Boost gauge works, wipers squirt water. Problem? A little gear piece in the wiper system broke and the motor was spinning but wasnt catching the blades.

I should get it back today, hopefully. I hate driving this stupid rental cobalt they gave me.

 

That's a bad start. Hope it gets better for you. I still have not had one problem at 15k miles.

 

thats not a good start hopefuly there no more problems with it for a long time!

 

I hope not, its little problems but they are still problems. At least I fixed the boost gauge and the wiper thing that day along with the bumper issue. I have to call the dealer to see if they got the part in yet.

 

and STI FOR A COBALT.....no comment, my dream car. got any picts of it befor you got rid of it?

 

^^^ excactly, i love my cobalt but 300 awd ponys....thats nice. must of been hard to say bye. Hope those are the last of the problems for ya
