Broke Flex Pipe on Vibrant Downpipe

Hi all,
I am in a bit of a bind... Shop says there's a crack in the flex pipe on my Vibrant downpipe. The downpipe mates with the Vibrant mid-length header I have, thus the issue: how can I find a replacement downpipe for this header?

I was unable to find any shops selling just the downpipe, and I am not sure how to find the correct length of the downpipe as the header is a mid-length, and not long-tube header.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, really want to fix this exhaust leak. Exhaust shop might charge up to $300 to weld on a new flex pipe, trying to go a bit cheaper than that.

$300 to weld in a flex pipe? find a new exhaust shop. to re/re the downpipe, cut and weld a new flex coupler in should be an hours labor.

I agree, but I also worry the reason the Flex pipe cracked was due to a clogged cat... So I'd rather replace the pipe anyway.. thoughts?

thats the problem when you buy a cat and header combo, they are designed to work together and interchanging headers and downpipes is a crapshoot on anything but a shorty header. you may want to try contacting vibrant and seeing if you can buy just a downpipe, or else your going to have to pay an exhaust shop to weld in a new cat and flex pipe.

Thanks for the advice, maybe I should just go back to stock exhaust for now... I'll contact vibrant too and see what happens..

Thanks again!
