man the dealrship is charging me $55. for running a diagnotics test on my car. man thats sucks

Just get your own hand held diagnostic tool. Mine cost about $50.

damn my shop charge me 38 for mine cause i had 3-5 codes came up with my zzp header/dp installation

i went to autozone. and they told me it was a misfire in cylinder 3, bad coil pack, and bad o2 sensor. gm calls me and tells me the only thing wrong is a wire near my intake was unplugged. BS im going to pick it up. im going to bitch if my reverse still sounds like ****. and is blowwing out black smoke

honestly, they may be right. if that much is redlighting... i don't usually think that many things go bad at once.

55 bucks is bullshit on star does it for free , the only thing with them is sometimes they wont give you the code they will just read the description and then tell you there not allowed to give the number ex:P0071 i just keep calling until i get it , ive used it at least 5 times and only once they didnt give me the number

That's actually cheap. Most repair facilities will charge about $90 to run a diagnostics test.
