Bump, Sputter, No rpms???

I have a 2007 chevy cobalt ss with 3550 miles. I had my stage 2 kit put on yesterday and have out on 35 miles since install. Anyway, I made a right at a stopsign took the car to about 4k rpms and then went to put it in second, next thing you know I hit a huge pot hole and the rpms drop to zero, and the boost went to zero.

I had no idea what just happened, so I coasted into a nearby parking lot and took a look under the hood Everything look normal and the pulley and belt looked good, so then I got back into the car and tried to start it again. It spuddered and vibrated and then I turned it off. So I called my dealership and told them what happened. They gave me the GM towing line or whatever....Right before I called the line I figured I would try starting it up again.

Magically the car started after one or two extra cranks and I let it idle for about five minutes. Everything sounded normal. I put it in first and slowly got it moving....and everything seemed okay. I was only 2 miles from home, so I decided I should get it their, plus I fugured everything would be under warrantee anyway...haha...I took it easy on it shifting at 3k rpm.

As I neared my driveway I gave a little gas in second and took it from 20 to 50. Everything was fine and boost got up to 14 or 15. Not completely sure. So I dunno what happened and I am planning on taking it in tomorrow. What do you guys think?

My dad said that there is a fuel cut off switch and if it senses impact (like another vehicle in a crash) the fuel will cut off. My question is, Is that true and could a pot hole simulate that kind of force and cause my car to shut off?

ive heard this by other people on here. They say after they restart the car and let it run, like you did, It was fine. I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe they didnt connect the new injectors properly and the jarring disconnected it momentarily.
Just guessing though.
Usually on thing like that I would normally look at what was done if the problem wasnt there before.

Isn't it a safety feature ? Like the car thinks it's been in an accident and cuts fuel? I though i read something like that .
