Ok, here's the deal. I lost A/C at the end of last summer didn't really need it any more so I let it go 'till a week or so ago. I put the gauges on it and the compressor is running, but doesn't build any pressure. I figured expansion valve first, easy to get to and found one cheap.... no difference. Got to checking and there's a "high pressure relief valve" in the compressor, ordered one from a dealer, totally different from mine. They can't find anything that looks anything like what I pulled out of the compressor. Anyone had a similar problem with lack of pressure from a compressor that's running or not being able to find parts?

 

are the gauges pulling a vacuum at all or just like 0 psi

 

the pressures are stayin' equalized.
