A/C problem
A/C problem
Everything in my A/C system turns on and runs. The clutch thing even comes on and all of that but I just blow nothing but regular outside air all of the time. On top of that I tested the pressure of my system on the low pressure side and it read i think 100psi. if that number doesnt sound realistic then i do remember for a fact that the pressure gauge was in the red reading "dangerous". i tried putting some R134 in there, didnt do anything. A friend says that it needs to be vacuumed out and recharged. Any thoughts from you guys.
Hmm, have you tried using the recirculate button to see if that at least helps for now if you're sweating your ass off? See if using the recirc with the windows down, if not you might need a recharge or have something clogged...sorry that's the best I can muster if your A/C clutch is engaging.
If the clutch is clicking in and you are sure the compressor is running then it is low in freon and you have to find out why.
If you havent put a ghetto grill in the front facia I would say the condensor has a hole in it some where.
Take a close look at it a hole sometimes shows up like a oil spot on the core.
If the compressor is clicking off and on constantly you may have a problem with your presssure sensor
most likely the high.
