Can't take my key out of my ignition

August 2009:Two Alpine Type R 12 in
Two mrp-m500's to power them

February 2010:Viper 5901 Alarm system alarm/remote start

Ok, so in February I got my new Viper 5901 alarm/remote start installed and like 3 weeks later, a fuse in the driver panel blew...the guys at Best Buy who installed the alarm replaced the fuse no problem, or used a spare that comes in the car? Anyway I think this fuse is being blown by my subs which were installed in August of last year. The reason i think this is because that little fuse blew again...I think, only b/c I can't take my key out of the ignition again, the auto locks don't work and the amps do not cut on for my subs, so there's no bass. All of which happened before, any suggestions before I rip the side panel off an see if the fuse is blown...like a way to get my key out? Thanks in advance

:O Damn dude. It seems like Best Buy fucked your **** up!

Just keep checking the fuses. And you may need to put an inline fuse in there that's maybe 50 amps as opposed to what? 20?

Yea I think it's 20 bt im nt to sure on that, I would have did it myself, bt I couldn't get the wiring right. So I had them do it, it's an easy fix if it is the fuse, I could prolly do it myself. Bt where can I get an inline fuse from?

If you have an auto trans, there is a little door underneath the steering wheel. Open that, hit the button and your key should release.

never, ever go up in fuse size because they keep blowing. the reason they blow is to keep your car from catching on FIRE

I got the key out, but I will remember that if it happens again

Yea, its not the subs fault mainly, its just when the guy hooked it up, he hooked it up to the smallest fuse in the car, if it goes out again...I'll ask him to hook it up to a different fuse

And yes, thank god I didn't have my voltage checker, b/c I was going to put a bigger fuse in there and would have possibly died today *whew*

Thought you guys might wanna know that I got it fixed and it was the little brown fuse all the way to the right in the passenger fuse box that messed all that stuff up....again...
