this just started today. when im at a dead stop and try to go, the engine shakes and it feel like "a little wheel hop". Now its hard to get it into 2. its not the sazme at all. what do you think it is. I dont do burned outs. So i know its not from that. So what do you think it could be and is there anyone out there that this has happen to?

 

Sounds like something wrong with the transmission and its mount. Nevertheless you should get that checked out.

 

would this be cover with ny warranty?

it stops after 2000rpm. just shakes when i start to go

 

Im not sure but i think it is, maybe not the clutch though -dont take my word for it.

edit- after your description it sounds a lot like whellhop does it happen all of the time?

 

ever time i go from a dead stop. it wront do it if i start out hard but if i try to start out slow it does it.

 

Im almost sure its wheelhop (its normal for us lol). You should get it checked out just in case though.

New engine mounts search for it. You can even get a weapon r dampener. I forgot who but someone just cam out with a good one that im going to get.

 

its not wheel hop guys, hes talking about starting out slow
after my car broke in, and esp after i got my ingalls

i started to notice the same thing but mines below 1500 about when i go slow

i think its cluth chatter actually or just vibes from the dumpy mounts in this car...

if you know what to look for, monkey under your car and check out your trans mounts....see if all looks rright

if your really worried, take it to the dealer, but mine and every other performance car ive ever driven has done this...

thanks man. I'm going to take it in when i get a day off. this **** is buging me out my mined. would that be why it is hard to get it into 2?

 

It could also just be that you are starting off too slow with not enough fuel so the rpm fluctuate like the car is going to die jsut give it a little more gas. The more i get into this though the more confused i get myself lol. If anything check it out just to make sure it wont hurt.

getting into 2nd is wat really is bugging me though so im not sure.

 

it happens when i back up to. i give it the same amont of gas as i always have. I let my wife drive it and it was doing the same thing for her to

Best bet is to take it to the dealer they will tell you exactly wat you have wrong. Provide some updates after go im really interested with what is wrong.t
