Is the car an auto or manual?

Either way, I would get it looked at.

^ If it has a stock remote start system then it has to be auto, in which case makes this an even stranger problem.

edit: fixed

Car had a brain fart go to the dealer and have them see if it has any stored codes from the fart.

And the manual cars don't have keyless entry remotes? I knew you guy's didn't have remote start but I thought you still had a door clicker.

Yeah I corrected myself in the post directly above yours. When he asked the question I interpreted "keyless entry" as "remote start" in my head.

Do a search, this has happened before. If I remember right it was a short in the passenger side headlight assembly that was causing it? I can't be sure but I think that's what it was.

When i have come to a complete stop mine almost died a couple times. But it did die once when i was pulling in my driveway. Ive got a 06 Cobalt SS/SC and at the time it happened i was completely stock.

With the automatic it could be that the torque converter locking solenoid is not disengaging or slow to disengage. That would cause the engine to die or almost die when slowing down or stopping.
