Hey everyone from that past two days I have been having some odd issues with my car. It is an 05 Cobalt SS with about 12x,xxx on it. While driving the car I pulled up to a stop light and my car just died. All my accessories were working but the motor had just stopped. When I tried to start the car after this you could hear the car try to turn over and would even start to then sputter out. After about 5 mins I did get the car back on and running. Later that day when I went to drive it the car started but the tachometer staid at 0 rpm and the car felt like it had no power. I shut it off let it site turned it back on and it worked no problem. Last night on my way home the car died again while I was driving and had troubles starting. When I did get it started the tachometer staid at 0 rpm and had no power. Hoping you guys can help me out so I dont have to take it into the shop. Thank you

sounds like crank shaft position sensor problems, i had this same issue years ago and it was that damm little sensor in front of the motor and one of the cables was hanging from a hair too causing the car to turn off almost for anything, bumps, turns, anything. it would also crank up but no start..start checking there first
